Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our web and mobile platforms. You will be working across both backend and frontend systems. Your responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining features and functionality for our web platforms and mobile applications and collaborating with product managers, designers, and veterinary subject matter experts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Own building and shipping new features across all levels of the stack (frontend and backend). Collaborate with product and design teams on crafting great user experiences. Write high-quality testable code that's functional, long term maintainable and performant. Take point on critical surface areas and help scale them to the next level. Integrate systems to power Descript in smart ways.
